Chapter 10 of the Bedford Book of Genres discussed multi-genre essays. The chapter then explained the 5 steps you should take in order to write a multi-genre essay. The first step is communicating to your audience what you are writing about. The second step is sequencing the information in order to better organize it. Third, title the work. Fourth is making a statement, this is the explanation of your thoughts and writing. Lastly, put it all together to form a final package. These are the general steps that will help write a multi-genre essay.
